I had the laser pointer, but about 5 years before that I bought this little black box(fits easily in your palm)it has four buttons, each one has a different saying, that I won't mention here. I still have it and it still works, anyone know what I'm talking about...we called it our voice mail.
every day is a beautiful day,it's just that some days are a little more beautiful than others!
I remember one year, it was painter's caps with buttons all over them. I bought a Michael Jackson painter's cap on the boardwalk (probably to go with my "member's only" jacket).
In the 90's, it was the rasta necklaces with the psychadelic beads and t-shirts that looked like Budweiser labels or Corona labels but were really OC ads.
Oh, and who could forget the Big Pecker shirts.
One summer it was Buckwheat and Little Rascal t-shirts.
SurfStyle windbreakers that are still around, but everyone wore them early 90s.
Grab a Busch or Grab a Heiney beer long sleeve T's, along with Jack Daniels. This was also the time of cowboy hats with the feather roach clips hangin off.
We always got a shirt with an iron-on and name on back each year I was 7 til 12 or so.
Rock band names on a bandana worn around your neck.

Anyone remember any "hot items" they bought at Ocean City when they were a kid? It seemed like every year I went to the beach, there was that one thing EVERYONE had to have. When I was a kid, it was the Glow Stick. Back in the 70's, my sister and I got one every year because it was the only place they ever sold them. We could never find them at home. The last BIG THING I really remember seeing were the laser pointers about 10 years ago.
