I wish I could comment. But by the time I get two kids, a wife, luggage, food and boogie boards into my Jeep, I have no room for my clubs!!!!!

i'll comment.  lighthouse sound is my favorite course in OC.  it has several holes along the bay/river and is just a beautiful/challenging course.   however, it is very expensive and i usually try to play twilight when the costs go down significantly.   I also really like man o' war @ glen riddle.  reasonably priced and they keep the course in great great shape.   rum pointe is also very nice.  everybody seems to rave about eagles landing, but i wasn't that impressed.    I played the new Jack Nicklaus course this past summer, and while very nice , was again very expensive and not a good value.

OC has some great courses.  My favorite is Rum Pointe.  Both courses at the OC Golf Club are great courses for the money.  River Run is fun as well.  I also recommend Glen Riddle when the rates are down.

lighthouse is like $130 in season.  rum pointe probably around $90.  man o' war was around 80 bucks.  the jack nicklaus course was 120-130 but can run as high as like 160 i think which is ridiculous.

Actually, if you play in the summer, they really discount their rates after like 1PM.  The rates are almost half the regular rate.  I agree with fidobuster that the regular rates are insane.
