Hi there...I just booked an oceanfront room at the Nassau motel for the middle of June. Has anyone ever stayed there? On the website it says the oceanfront building is pretty new...just wondering if anyone had an opinion on it. It looked pretty nice on the website. Thanks for any opinions!

Of the three buildings that make up the motel you have picked the newest and most desirable one. The other two buildings are much older and are not ocean side. This place has been around for quite some time and is located in a rather quiet section of the coastal highway.

Right across the street Hall's which offers and all you can eat breakfast buffet.

Down 60th street on the bayside you will find Fager's Island a good place to eat for a decent lunch or upscale dinner or if you want a few drinks in the evening.

I think the Nassau will serve you needs well with your choice of buildings with an ocean view to enjoy.

Have a safe and enjoyable trip.

We have stayed at the Nassau Motel several times, although it has been several years since our last stay. When we stayed there, the oceanfront building was not yet there. The older 2 buildings are oceanblock, but have no ocean view. The rooms were always very clean and nice and the rates very reasonable. I'm sure that you won't be disappointed.

I stayed at the Nassau Motel 2 years ago. We had a large poolside efficiency in the poolside building. Our room in that part was very clean, nice, and comfortably fit 6 people. We ventured into the oceanfront building on the first day, just to check it out and use their restrooms before we were able to check in at the poolside building. The hotel was put up only 3 or so years ago and it is beautiful inside. Very clean and bright. The indoor pool is also nice, not huge but its a decent size. The people there were very nice and courteous.

The beach on 60th street was my favorite of all the places i've been to so far. I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay here! :)
