Well, I've been back from the beach for a week and have just now had the chance to get to the computer to give my reviews of the places we ate. Some excellent, one place I'll never try again!

Saturday--arrived in OC after a horrific trip in the rain on 97 and 50! Didn't eat til late, but drove down the road and tried Hooter's. It was ok. Menu didn't seem as big as the one in Pittsburgh. We started out w/ boneless wings and ordered medium, altho they tasted mild. I got a grilled fish sandwich which was good. The tablespoon of cole slaw was gross. My bf got a turkey and bacon sandwich which he enjoyed. Reasonable price, but said they didn't take traveler's checks. But it was so loud in there, the waitress prob didn't understand what I said.
Sunday--Our usual trip to Hall's for breakfast. Delicious as always! Hit the boardwalk in the afternoon and went to Shenanigan's for late lunch. Had chili/cheese fries. Chili was awesome! Tasted like it had beer in it! I had a corned beef, swiss, and mustard sandwich, good!. Bf had bangers and potatoes, which was sausages. Tasted good. I had a Shileghli(i'm sure it's mispelled) and he had PBR on tap...nice treat. Ordered a pizza from Tugo's late night during indulging in adult beverages. Got a meat pizza! Best one I've ever had!
Monday--Ate early lunch in condo then headed to Delaware for outlet shopping. Gone all day! Went to JRs for dinner. I thought they had great food. I got grilled ham steak, BBQd w/ macaroni and cheese. Bf had the prime rib, tender and tasty. Great bread. Was busy and waiter never came around too much, but the food was good.
Tuesday--Headed to Tubby's for subs for lunch. I had a chicken cordon bleu, ok. Bf had a chicken cheese steak which he said wasn't as good as it had been before. Went to get tickets for 12mn movie (Transformers), beach, then to boardwalk for dinner. Ate a place called Fausto's. It sucked royally! We got soup which was ok (had french onion). I ordered stuffed manicotti (didn't come w/ bread or salad), bf ordered a steak pizziaola (had sauce, cheese, tomatoes). His steak tasted awful! All fat, no taste or seasoning. I had 2 manicotti which i could make something better at home. The waitress did apologize and took it off the bill, but didn't send a manager over or anything. This place wasn't busy, should've known.
Wednesday--Went out to the country house store in Salisbury. Stopped at Ruth's Cris for dinner! What an experience! I think that is where steaks go when they die! We got the dinner for 2 deal which was 69.95 and included a salad, bread, main course, 2 sides, and dessert. And they did not skimp! I had the 8 oz filet w/ a bleu cheese crust on top in medium. Bf got the 12 oz strip. He savored every bite, stating he wished it wouldn't end! Best steak we ever had! Cooked to perfection. You almost didn't need the sides! Then ended w/ a huge piece of cheesecake we split. Delicioso! I would definitely recommend this place if you have the money. The meal for 2 is the best deal they have.
Thursday--Got up late. Went to Dough Roller for lunch. Had the crab balls which were ok. I had the pulled pork BBQ sandwich and it was great. A little salty, but very tasty. Bf had a hoagie which he enjoyed. They do make good sandwiches. Went to Big Pecker's for dinner and that was good. First time there. Had nachos for appetizer, enough for 6 ppl! I had the chicken tacos, too much lettuce, but really tasty. BF had the french burger, swiss and mushroom. He loved it! Definitely will go back.
Friday--went to OC Kabob in the mall down on 112th St (can't remember the name). Great mediterranean food. Expensive, but good. They don't have tabbouleh, however, which surprised me. Had greek quesedilla, i had the gyro platter and bf got lamb kebobs. Would go again. And, of course, ended our trip w/ dinner at the Bonfire. You can't go wrong there. Best london broil! I love that place, and it's right across the street from the condo we always stay in. We always have our last dinner there.
Saturday--After checking out, went to Hall's again for breakfast buffet cuz we love it so much! Hoping to go again next year!

Sounds like you guys had fun. OC Kabobs sounds good. We usually take the kids to sundaes in the park, which is up that way. I think we'll try it. 5 weeks, can't wait.

I'm telling you, you can't beat that Ruth's Chris special.  Well worth the money.  I also think that Big Peckers has pretty good food at a very reasonable price.

We ate at the Fausto's on the boardwalk?  Are there more than one?  It was awful!
