I've been going to the Mug and Mallet restaurant for many years now and I love the food and atmosphere there. I'm looking forward to going there again this year for some AYCE crabs! I know the place is small but I was just wondering if anyone else on here has ever been there and had some input on the place.

I had a very good experience there a few years back.  A few friends and I went there in June.  We were there during the day and the only ones sitting at the bar.  After a few beers, we decided to get some crabs.  We ordered some jumbos, which were HUGE.  The manager even gave us a free pitcher of beer. 

 

It's a nice little place, I agree.

Used to get served there when we were underage.  It is down a few steps and not real crowded, so the servers didn't really care how old we were.  Not that I would recommend trying that now...different time, different era.

Kds, I agree...nice little place. I have to laugh at myself whenever I have to wash my hands there. That bathroom is literally the size of a closet with a sink the size of a soup bowl...lol. Bathroom aside though I really enjoy it there. I hope to make it there this week on vacation!

Never ate there but my brother in law and his family tried it out and said it was OK
