Just wanted to let people know that my wife and I have rented both eff. and one bedrooms in the Golden Sands at 109th street and have had excellent vacations. Usually we stay a week in July. The staff are pleasant, and quite hardworking. There is only one parking spot per unit, but we only have one car so it's not a problem. The elevators stay pretty crowded but that's to be expected anywhere. Very nice beachfront deck to lounge on with shops and a bar/grill. Mostly it's families or couples although anywhere you go you will find the occassional bunch of drunks. When we have had a problem, the staff have handled it for us without question.
We usually go down in January for a week-end and check out the units that are available the week we will be going.
