I'm jealous of your Sunday. I am hoping for a similar day in a few weekends for the Seawitch Festival. The weather hasn't been great for the festival for the past two years, so I think we deserve a good one! i have never actually eaten a meal at Dumser's--only ice cream. What else other than burgers do they have on their menu?
Here is Dumser's dinner menu.
They have great food as well as ice cream in my opinion.

Dining Report 10/1 – 10/4
Beautiful weather but the food and foodservice were down as they sometimes are once the season closes....luckily, there were notable exceptions.
Bayside Skillet – stingy on potatoes, omelette lacked cheese, banana crepes were average but serving also seemed smaller than usual...we're usually fans but last couple times did not get our money's worth
Minit Market – thanks to the person who highlighted that they cut their own meat here...steak sub was a bit unusual with cubed steak rather than thin sliced but tasted great. Also, impressed with the people who helped me behind the food counter, the cleanliness of the kitchen area, and general sense of pride in the business...they had a nice freshly roasted turkey on the counter so next time, I'll try the turkey club
Pizza Tugos – average pizza, looks like they may have changed owners or managers as they were closed this time in past years..glad they finally cleaned the place up a little
Laytons – egg and cheese sandwich on stale overtoasted bread with dried out bacon...donuts were okay...line was out the door on saturday morning...always a gold mine
Three Brothers – more steak subs...not bad...better steak at Minit Market...girl at the counter couldn't have been less friendly or more disinterested if she tried...guess the summer wore her manners out
Leo's – 20 bucks for seafood special consisting of crabcake, shrimp, and scallops...worst meal of the week..too bad, this place sometimes recommended to me by locals...crabcake was edible...other fried items were tasteless and scallops were burned and chewy
Tony's on the Boards- If you're walking the boards and get thirsty, why not stop for the $3, 16 ounce only size we serve cup of mountain dew...sheesh, I don't mind contributing to the economy but things are getting out of hand at some of these places.
Dumsers – Cheeseburger and fries....cooked nicely and fair portion...very good tomato!
Grottos on the boards at Bethany – nice new location in Bethany if you're a sportsfan but a little too loud for us...getting old I guess...pizza was good
Bill's Seafood Cafe in Lewes – first time walking around lewes delaware, nice town, fried fish and calamari were just okay...why is fresh seafood so hard to find in the delmarva resort area?
Rehoboth Bake Shoppe – really good breakfast sandwhich on fresh made bagels, cheese and cherry danish as big as your head...a favorite of ours despite the 35 minute drive
Jimmy's Kitchen in Fenwick– Reliable and good...always fast friendly service...another place which shows pride in ownership...great egg ham and cheese omelet with hashbrowns and tasty biscuit
Weather on Sunday was one of those once in a lifetime perfect days...75 with warm 5mph breeze all day long...temp didn't drop to 70 until around 9pm...spent 4 hours touring the town by bicycle from 3 – 7. Not many times can you enjoy perfect weather and feel like you have the resort to yourself.
