Hey Guys,

My wife and I are going to a wedding today at The Oaks in Easton. We are spending the night tonight and wondered if anyone knew of any hidden gems in Easton that serve a good breakfast. I will be checking back tonight and tomorrow morning, so any help will be appreciated!!!

Since I didn't get any suggestions, I decided to explore for myself. Right beside our hotel we found this great restaurant that serves a pretty good breakfast. The best thing about this place...it serves breakfast all day. So next time anyone is in Easton in the morning, go to this place to eat. It's a place called.......Denny's. Make sure you guys write that down.

I'm sorry I didn't reply now.  I was going to recommend Denny's because that's were we stop on our trip down for Breakfast before hitting the beach.   I was afraid it would have come across like a joke.  We actually enjoy stopping there, we've been treated great and the food isn't bad either.

Is this Denny's like Grand Slam chain Denny's or a local place?

LOL, it's the Grand Slam Denny's Mike. I was just joking about it. But I guess flaggerjohn really likes the Denny's in Easton.

I'm not sure I would go out of my way for it, but it's dependable.   My post was 1/2 joking at best, I just found humor in it since it turns out that's were we normally stop on our trips down.   I am however, looking for a good breakfast place in OC.  My wife and I are heading down for our 22nd Wedding Anniversary on the 16th.    Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.    We'll be staying at the new Marriott Courtyard so I'll be sure to post my reviews when I return.

I know many people disagree with me, but we love Dough Roller for breakfast.  Their pancakes are awesome, and they have many omlets and combos.  Rio Grande in the Econo Lodge on 145th street is good as well.  BTW, Happy Anniversary!  I know you'll have a great time.

I think the Satellite has a great breakfast. I ate there twice when I was down last weekend! It is at Coastal Highway bayside at 46th street. I think they are open Friday - Monday in the off season. Jimmy's kitchen in Fenwick Isalnd also has a really good breakfast. I agree with Montegoman, the Dough Roller is good, but I think Satellite and Jimmy's are better.

Have a great time!

My wife and I absolutely LOVE The Bayside Skillet.  It's not your typical breakfast place and they don't serve many typical breakfast items like french toast, pancakes, fried eggs, etc.  But the food they do serve is awesome.  If you love crepes they make some out of this world crepes.  I usually get the Banana Royale Crepes and my wife gets the Crepes Kathryn (crepes with your choice of 3 fresh fruits; Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, Blackberries, Bananas, Peaches or Hot Dutch Apples).   I've never had Orange Juice as good as they serve there either.  It's literally fresh squeezed in front of you and tastes like you are eating a freshly picked orange.  If crepes aren't your thing they also serve lots of different types of omlettes that are absolutely HUGE, and unlike most places they encourage sharing meals.  They are a bit pricey compared to most breakfast places but personally I think it's worth it.  We always splurge and have at least one breakfast there every time we go to OC.

If you are looking for something different, you can't go wrong with The Bayside Skillett.

The Bayside Skillet gets my vote 110%!  You have to try their crepes!  Fantastic! And their omelets are huge!  Try them, you won't be disappointed.

Bayside is really good, but they are expensive!!  However, IMO, a lot of what you order is enough for 2.  You could order 1 omelette and an order of potatoes and easily split it!  I would say worth it for sure for a special breakfast.

Satellite is also good and has decent prices.
