BEACH REPLENISHMENT TO BEGIN SEPT 6TH

The Army corps will begin the replenishment to the following areas:

24th-37th streets
69th-131st streets
132-DE Line

The other areas are supposedly OK. Should last about 2 months.

It's a good thing too since it is getting hard to find a spot on the narrow beach around 120th street. It has been noticebly smaller the last few years at our beach- I can't recall if this had anything to do with the hurricane a few years back or not.

I get the Ocean City Newsletter sent to me which comes out about 4 times per year- I think it's from the Dept of Tourism office- the same people that put up the site http://www.ococean.com . There was a short article on it and some stuff about how to take care of the dunes.
