Here's their Website address:

Read their rates page carefully - the "disclaimer" is rather long, so the posted prices may not be what you pay.
The boardwalk ends on 27th street and this Motel is on 33rd. So, doing the math puts you about a 10 minute walk from the north end of the boardwalk. The hotel is only a "short" one-block walk to the beach.
As far as food and shopping. Just about any place in OC is within a ten minute walk of food and "things." And for those without a car, remember that the bus fare is only $2.00 for an all-day pass (6:am to 6:am). We know families who drive to Ocean City and then don't use their car until the trip home. Enjoy your stay.

A lot depends on what time of year you are going. If you are going in "season" then you will have lots of stuff to do and see. And the tram runs daily on the boards from 27th street to the inlet. BUT if you are going now or in the next month or so, don't expect many attractions to be open. And I believe that the tram only runs on weekends for a few more weeks. Same with some of the shops on the boards. There is the public bus which runs all the time and it only costs $2.00 per person to ride all day, so without a car this would probably be your best way to see all of OC. Whenever you go, have a great time.
Don't know if you care to read the reviews on this property or this really doesn't matter to you.
Just in case you wanted to see what some others thought of the Voyager you can read their reviews on this site.
Good luck...............
I can now answer my own question after just getting back from OC and staying at the Ocean Voyager. We went with a bus load of people for the Nascar Race and stayed from Wed to Monday. It was the worse place I have EVER, EVER stayed at. The room was disgustingly filthy. The bathroom was horrid with mold and mildew on the shower curtain, worse than a bad gas station bathroom. The floors were filthy and probably worse of all was the awful moldy, mildewy smell that even a whole bottle of fabreze couldn't get rid of. You had to pay a $5 deposit for each room key and a $5 deposit for the TV remote. There was rarely anyone in the office and our phone didn't work. Lucky for me, I got sick and spent at least one night in the Atlantic General hospital in a wonderful clean room! If anyone is planning go to OC stay somewhere else, anywhere else or you'll be sorry... There are so many great places around it's just not right that these people are being paid by anyone for such a nightmare of an experience. The owners of this place should be ashamed.
PS: For some reason I never saw the post from NY-MD about the hotel reviews before we left, but thanks for posting the information. Every bad word about this place is definitely true. I've never commented on what a place is like before but I really believe that no one should stay there and maybe the owners will get a message that it needs to be cleaned up.
I'm sorry you didn't have a chance to see the review site I posted before your trip.
There are many decent places to stay in OC the Voyager not being one of them.
The reason I post the reviews of others is so it is not just MY opinion that appears to suggest whether a place is good or bad. If most or many of the reviews come in negative then you have a real good chance of heading for a bad expierence.
One of the positive roles of this type of site is to help avoid bad expierences like you had to go through.
Sorry for you stay at the Voyager but please understand your post today will help others in the future avoid making the same mistake.( If they decide to listen.)
I always wonder why some who post on this site and others would reserve a room and THEN ask for the opinions of others. Perhaps you should use the information provided on this site first and then armed with that information decide where you stay, eat or visit.
Thanks again for your post. To answer your question of why someone would reserve rooms then ask about what they were like is simple for me to answer because I signed up to go on a bus trip to the Nascar race in Dover and that's the motel the organizer of the trip chose for us to stay at. His other bus has stayed at the Barefoot Beachcomber but they did not have enough room for two busses and he booked us at the OV. Believe me he got an earfull and no one will ever be staying there again.
He is now thinking about booking us to stay at the Maridel Motel next year. Do you know anything about that place? I tried looking it up on the website you sent for the Ocean Voyager but I wasn't able to find any information. I agree that it's backwards to make the reservation then ask so any information about the Maridel would be greatly appreciated.

 We are planning a trip to Ocean City and were wondering what the Ocean Voyager was like. Has anyone stayed there recently? Mainly we're interested in knowing if it's within walking distance to the Boardwalk and the Beach and what if any little convenience stores and good eating places are nearby as we will not have a car. Thanks in advance for any information you may be able to provide.
