It was that great place for mini burgers where Bahama Mamas is on or around 60th street bayside. I loved that place so much I wish they would have never closed their doors. There Used to be alot of them in Baltimore but now theres only one in Baltimore and its not in a good neighborhood. Anyone care to share some stories about 'The Little Tavern' please feel free. Im kinda interested in seeing how many people know what it is/was since im only in my mid 20's and that chain name is alot older than me.

There is a Little Tavern in Georgetown(Washington dc.) and I think there is still one on Wisconsin ave. ? in Bethesda MD.
There was more of them but they're gone now,and they do have great burgers. I also seem to think some of them changed their name to Ollies Trolley, there was one of those in Crystal City. Very unique (little)places.

The Little Tavern in Georgetown closed down sometime ago, it was on Wisc and N st.
My mom use to live a block down from it on N st. It was a awsome place to get a burger.
Also use to be one right in College Park, Md right there at the U of Md.
Man the stories from that place late at night back in the 70's :D

Ollies Trolley in Crystal City I think is gone also but there is still one in DC right on 12th st between Pa and E st.
Their Ollie burgers and fries are pretty tasty

I absolutely loved the Little Tavern in OC. It was located on 78th street, bayside. My family’s townhouse was on 78th Oceanside, and we would always walk over after a day on the beach to grab a cold pepsi and some of those delicious mini burgers! :o

Now, Bahama Mama’s inhabits that location.

Mikies in Glen Burnie has "little mikies" very close to little tavern burgers.

Also Ledos Pizza has some minis that are good, especially when you add the Onion Ring dip to them!

I thought the LT in Laurel Md was still open?

It's really a shame that a Baltimore institution had to close.

Has anyone noticed that "sliders" (mini burgers) are becoming a very popular appetizer?

I nearly forgot about the Little Tavern's brief stay in OC.

I've heard rumors that they have try to revive Little Tavern. There are a lot of people in Baltimore with money to burn (Ed Hale, Bucky Bartlet, etc), so it wouldn't surprise me if somebody revived it.

Aw man im getting hungry! LOL The sliders are great and sometimes even I can go for a White Castle burger. I hope one of those money makers in Baltimore brings back the Tavern for another run!
