i'm coming to ocean city for a few days next week for the first time and was wondering are things still open this time of year ?

Anyone ever stay at the Royalton Hotel?

Ocean City's Famous Boardwalk. I guess this is something that I take for granted, never realizing that everyone does not know where the Boardwalk is or even what it is like. The Boardwalk starts below 1st Street and stretches along the ocean up to 28th Street. The total length of the Boardwalk is around 3 miles and makes a great walk. Most of the activity and excitement is on the lower end of the Boardwalk. This time of year there are still a few shops that open up on the weekdays, while some only open on the weekends. Marty's Playland Arcade is open year round as well.

The Boardwalk in Ocean City this time of year is much different that in summer. There is no crowd, many shops are open with limited hours. It is really very peaceful to take a nice long walk on the boards this time of year. You get a much different perspective of the boardwalk, you may see things you have not noticed before, after all, there is no crowd. So put on you hat and gloves, it may be chilly but the fresh air and the breathtaking views will soon chase the winter blues away.
