It's the calm after the storm in Ocean City.  The past few days were filled with heavy rain and strong winds causing beach erosion and flooding, but now the coast is clear and Mother Nature is treating us to some much needed good weather.  Temps are in the upper 50's to low 60's for the remainder of the week which makes it a great time to visit beautiful Ocean City Maryland.

The weather is still nice enough to get out and about in Historic Downtown Berlin, Maryland this week. Doesn't it sound relaxing to take a stroll on the streets of Berlin? Visit the many shops the town has to offer, enjoy and afternoon tea, visit one of the art galleries, museum or one of the other fabulous eateries. Stop by the Atlantic Hotel and see what the new management has done to the Hotel and Cafe. Come on...let's take a walk. There is plenty to see.

Visit historic Annapolis this weekend for the 38th Annual United States Powerboat Show.  Known as the nation's oldest powerboat show, this year's event will feature the latest in boat designs from luxury motoryachts to high performance boats as well as the latest in marine technology.  Seminars and personal tours will be offered for additional information.  The fun begins Thursday, October 15 with the show opening at 10am until 6pm.  The show continues Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 7pm daily.  Bring the whole family to this year's event which draws over 5

Corevette's will line the streets and boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland this weekend.  This weekend brings the Free State Corevette Club's annual Ocean City event.  There will be competitive events such as a Single Fun Show, Celebrity Judge Fun Show and Single Poker Rallye.  Visitors to the Ocean City area will enjoy a show on Saturday in the Inlet Parking lot from 9:30 am until noon, followed by a Parade on the Ocean City Boardwalk which starts at 4pm.

This week visit the Colonial Players as they perform "The Curious Savage."  This show described as a gentle and heartwarming comedy will be performed by the Colonial Players Thursday at 7:30pm, Friday at 8pm and Saturday at 2pm at the Colonial Players Theatre on East Road in Annapolis.

If you plan to visit Ocean City Maryland this weekend, there are several events taking place you just won't want to miss! 

Fabulous wine, a selection of beer, great food, music, arts and crafts- that's Winefest at the Beach!  This all takes place in the Ocean City inlet parking lot on October 2nd and 3rd.  Visit Winefest and sample some of the finest beer, wine and libations from all across the United States.  Admission includes coupons for wine sampling and a special commemorative glass.

It is time!   Sunfest, beginning Thursday, will have the Inlet parking lot filled with tents full of vendors displaying homemade gifts, lined with people listening to great music and smelling of delicious food.

There is plenty to do in and around Annapolis this week.  Get started by going to the Anne Arundel County Fair which starts on the 16th.  Here you will find farm animals, tractor pulls, games, contests and more.  The fair is taking place from the 16th to the 20th.
