Look! It's a bird, it's a plane, no it's the US Air Force Thunderbirds in the Ocean City sky! That's right, the Ocean City Air Show begins on June 12th! A huge success last year, the air show returns to entertain people of all ages with military aircraft demonstrations, low altitude flyovers, parachute team jumps and civilian aerobatic performances. All this takes place on the Ocean City beachfront on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. The show center is at 16th Street and the Boardwalk. There, you will see interactive displays and exhibits, including NASA’s Exploration Experience. The air show is free and will be visible the entire length of the boardwalk. VIP seating is also available for an additional charge. This is one weekend you don't want to miss!
Traditionally, the Sandcastle Contest is held this weekend, but this year's event has been cancelled. Not to worry though, the OC Air Show, Play It Safe Activities and the start of the Fireman's Convention will all prove to keep you and your family busy this weekend!
