Sales increase
Hileman Real Estate reports that the 2013 real estate market is off to a great start. According to production reports in the local multiple listing service, sales year to date are almost $9 million or 17 percent up over the same period last year.
The top sales agent year to date is Bethany Drew of the Power of Two Team with approximately $3 million in closed volume. The company also has five agents that have closed more than $1 million in volume as opposed to $2 million for the same period last year. Inventory is down and it is becoming harder for buyers to find properties at deep discounts.…

Hileman reports year off to great start
According to production reports in the local MLS, Hileman Real Estate, Inc. agents have closed almost $9 million in volume year to date, up 17 percent for same period last year, and closed 49 units, up 12 percent from last year.
The Top Sales Agent YTD is Bethany Drew of the Power of Two Team with approximately $3 million in closed volume. Five Hileman agents that have closed more than $1 million in volume, as opposed to just two for the same period last year.

New positions
The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore announces that three staff members were recently advanced to new positions within the organization.
Erica Joseph has been named the foundation’s vice president of Community Investment. Joseph will be responsible for coordinating the foundation’s development, philanthropic services, grants and program functions to meet the foundation’s short and long term strategic goals. Jameson new program coor
Atlantic General Hospital recently named Darlene Jameson, a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator, to the role of coordinator of their Diabetes Outpatient Education Program. Jameson, who became a diabetes educator in 2008, has been with the American Diabetes Association-recognized program since that time.
Jameson has provided education and counseling for nutrition and diabetes in the community for the past 17 years. She served as the director of Nutrition Services at AGH for 12 years before joining the Diabetes Outpatient Education Program.…
