The summer at the Blue Ox
I’ve written about the Blue Ox Steakhouse in this space before — it’s a favorite spot for locals and visitors to check out talented Ocean City musicians like HMOC favorites Wes Davis and Nancy Micciulla. This summer, look for more of the same high standard of performers, plus special events like July 22nd’s scheduled pig roast party on the outdoor deck lounge. While all the details are not yet confirmed, the plan is to have a chef roast a whole pig for party guests. Little old vegetarian me will probably not be attending, but for those of you who enjoy the laid-back Babe’s Lounge vibe and classic summer eating, I’m sure this party will be hard to beat.
